FIRST AD
In college, my best-friend hooked me up with this Punk Goes 90's album release project. We'd been making short films since high school, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to write/act in an actual ad for my favorite record label.
STORY TIME: Every portfolio should include a writers first ad. Either because it's terribly hilarious or because it was done for free. In this case, a little bit of both.
The experience changed my career trajectory. YES. You can be creative, you can have fun and who knows, one day they might even pay you for it.
